Change what you eat

The McDougall Program, developed over the past half century, has served as your guide to making changes in eating in order to regain your lost health and appearance. The basic McDougall Diet is made of starches, vegetables, and fruits; no animal products of any kind and no added oils. Since we, the McDougalls, did it right the first time, there is no need to reinvent the wheel for our latest patient: Earth. The fundamental dietary fixes for people also apply to a planet.

Uncover the hidden truths of the fishing industry

People eating fish is the number one cause of death to our oceans. By 2048 the prediction is that there will be little to no life in the oceans. “Sustainable seafood” is a way of covering up the slaughter of sea life and to create large profits for businesses. Fish farms have a dark side resulting in pollution, disease, and depletion by feeding farmed fish wild sea life. Seaspiracy is not for the faint at heart, with brutal scenes of the slaughter of whales and dolphins. Ali Tabrizi, Lucy Tabrizi, and Kip Andersen recommend the elimination of all seafood in the human diet.

Stay educated on the livestock impact

Focusing on the terrestrial impacts of food on the climate, Cowspiracy is considered by the McDougalls to be “the most important film made to inspire saving the planet.” Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn confront environmental and political groups with a vegan diet as the most effective solution. The film looks at various environmental concerns, including climate change, water use, deforestation, loss of mangrove forests, and ocean dead zones; pointing a guilty finger at animal agriculture as the primary source of environmental destruction.

Hollywood Stars Recommend a Vegan Diet

Much of the factual material in this documentary has been covered by Cowspiracy and Seaspiracy. This documentary focuses down on vegan solutions to the gluttonous consumption of meat and dairy foods that has brought us to the edge of extinction. Shocking interviews by scientists, physicians, and celebrities expose senseless cruelty of animal-based agriculture. Co-producers, Ludo and Otto Brockway, provide practical ways of adapting to diet based entirely on foods derived from plants, both natural and manufactured.
